The Final Scene · Option B

Teufelsberg

The city that listened.

A hill built from the rubble of bombed Berlin, crowned by the white domes of a Cold War listening station. Where the Brocken listened for the East, Teufelsberg listened for the West — the two ends of the same conversation, and you will have stood on both.

Today the domes are an open-air gallery of street art and one of the strangest, most atmospheric places in the city, with a wide view over Berlin's green west.

Fixed Points

Teufelsberg

  • Entry is ticketed through the site operator; guided tours and open visiting hours vary by season — check current times before you go.

  • Allow roughly 1.5–2 hours on the hill itself.

Getting there

  • S-Bahn to Grunewald or Heerstraße, then an uphill walk of around 20–30 minutes through the forest; the ground is uneven, so sturdy shoes are worth it.

The final scene is yours to choose.
